Outside of Kaufman Deals

A couple of cool deals that Christy Fortner let me know about...

1. OshKosh is having a $5 sale. You can go to Tanger for some cheap kids clothes. Becca and I went, and we can attest that the sale is good. However, those 20% off Tanger coupons that you get in the mail aren't accepted. So don't get your hopes up for that.

2. At TGI Friday's, you can get an appetizer for 1 cent when you order a beverage (soft-drinks too?) at the bar. Also, when you purchase an entree, you can get a second entree for $1. Great deals. These go through April 30th, and you have to print a coupon off. Click this link to get the coupon...

updates

A couple of notes to update from sunday's deals...

the very thrifty Rachel Crowley informed me that gallons of milk are often $2.50 at the wal-mart in Terrell. so if you're in that area, that is definitely worth a stop.

also, an update on the wheat thins...before you go to dollar general, you should know that the family size of wheat thins is on sale for $3.48 at wal-mart. that is actually a better deal than buying two small ones.

send any more tips my way and they will posted!

thrifty kaufmanites unite!

Welcome everyone to Thrifty Kaufman. People are trying to hard to save money and spend wisely right now, so I thought my weekly research might just be of benefit to my friends here in K-town. So, each week I'll post the deals I find in local ads and coupon books so that you don't have to sift through them yourself. I'll need your help in at least three areas. (1) Post a comment when you find a deal that is better than the one I've found. (2) Post a comment when you find any kind of great deal at all. (3) Post a comment to let me know other brands and items I can be on the lookout for. I'll do my best. Enjoy!
